Search Institute is the research leader for developmental relationships and is an expert in practices to improve adult relationships with young people. As an expansion of this work and with SCE’s support, Search Institute researched and developed a framework for building effective peer-to-peer relationships that can be utilized by out-of-school time providers and school-based adults.
This project included reviewing research to date, initiating a youth participatory action research project and capturing qualitative data that explores the role of teachers and youth workers in nurturing peer-to-peer relationships.
Search Institute promotes positive youth development and advances equity through research and practical solutions.
